RUFUS – Le Mont Governor Brandon Kelleher has defeated Nationalist Challenger Bianca Tunis in a 275-249 victory. Kelleher was declared the winner of the election this morning and will start his second term starting on June 25. Tunis was simply unable to gain enough traction and support to surpass Kelleher according to sources.

Kelleher will take office for his second term on June 25 and will be sworn in at 8:00 AM. Kelleher has expressed that he would continue to work on fighting DEI in Le Mont, as he pushes himself to align with President Jay Laylin. Kelleher is a popular governor among Republicans, with Nationalists voicing their opposition to a second Kelleher term.

“I am grateful and thank each and every one of you for allowing and trusting in me to continue to serve as your Governor,” said Governor Brandon Kelleher. “I look forward to continuing to fight DEI programs and remove barriers for qualified employees regardless of race, color or creed over 200 sectors. I look forward to these next two years.”

Kelleher has already said that will also focus on immigration issues, signing a a slew of bills back in 2024, which fully removed sanctuary protections from any city in the state. Kelleher was one of the first few governors to agree to work with President Laylin’s Immigration officials. Kelleher is also considering pushing forward bills aimed at targeting transgender studies in colleges and working tirelessly to remove LGBTQ related materials in school.

“We have a long two years ahead as we continue the work we started,” continued Governor Kelleher. “We will continue to prevent our state from being coming the “woke capital of Jesstopia,” and we will never surrender to the liberalism that has plagued our country and state in the recent months.”

Governor Kelleher will be sworn in for his second term at the State Capital and Le Mont Supreme Court Justice Mavis Blackburn will swear him in. The swearing in ceremonies will be televised live.
