RUFUS – Officials with the Jesstopian Intelligence Agency intercepted messages containing a plot to assassinate President Laylin by several Muslims who reside within the United States Of Jesstopia. Agents of the agency said that the four men planned on attending a Laylin presidential rally where they intended to shoot the President from the stands.
Officials for the Department of Homeland security said that the individuals in the plot were arrested in an apartment complex just 5 miles from President Laylin’s Alden home. They say the men were arrested and their apartment was searched where 4 AK-47s, 4 AR-15s and several grenades and pistols were found. Officials say that they are investigating other potential threats.
If convicted the four men could face the death penalty per the new Anti-Political Violence Act. Further, federal prosecutors say they are pushing for terrorism as well. President Laylin has not yet addressed the uncovered plot on his life and the Nationalist House says that the President is not scheduled to deliver remarks tonight on the uncovered plans.
“The plot to kill our President was uncovered by our fast thinking, fast acting agents with four men immediately taken into custody upon the uncovering of the plans,” said DNI Tony Verdana. “Because of their quick actions and fast movements our President remains unharmed today. We are asking federal prosecutor to aim for execution.”
Agents with the Presidential Protective Service say that the President was advised of the uncovered assassination plans and seemed unbothered by them. In a statement to the Press, PPS Director Gerald MacFarland said that President Laylin is the epitome of strength and fearlessness. He said consistent threats against him have not deterred him from continuing his work against the grain of what is popular.”
President Laylin has been subject to several foreign-led murder plots and continues to fight the people behind the plots by bombing Iran and several other enemy Muslim nations of the United States Of Jesstopia. Nationalist House officials say that he has been subject to over 200 plots and none have succeeded and praised god for them failing.
The four men, whose identities are being withheld at this time, all range in ages from 24 to 48. The men will likely face execution if found guilty because of the new Anti-Political Violence Law that was signed by President Laylin on September 1. They currently are refusing to cooperate with law enforcement.
“Right now we are unable to get the men to cooperate with our questioning and it is very likely that they will refuse to speak to us at all,” continued DNI Director Verdana. “We do know that they are set to face a federal case and we will provide as much evidence to get them convicted as possible.”
