RUFUS – Former Federal Crimes Investigation Service Director Sharona Maples announces that she is seeking to be elected the first female President of the United States Of Jesstopia during the 2028 Presidential Election.

Maples who served under President John McCallum’s FCIS, is seeking to win the Nationalist Party’s nomination for President in 2028. She previously served as the 52nd Director of the agency. She is running as a Nationalist and says that President Laylin must be stopped.

“I served as the chief law enforcement officer of our great country and will continue to serve the great people of this nation if I am elected,” said Sharona Maples. “For the next few years we will see continued attacks on our citizen’s rights and we will continue to face the havoc that the Laylin administration is pushing onto our citizens. I am running to make Jesstopia free, fair and more accepting for the LGBTQ Jesstopians who faced increased attacks under President Laylin.”

Maples has said that her fellow Nationalists candidates lack the ability to fight the Laylin Administration’s legal charades to fight pro-LGBTQ groups who believe in all rights. She says that she has legal expertise to ensure Republicans can’t try to violate any more rights.

Maples will become the first Law Enforcement official to run for the Jesstopian presidency and is also the second women to try to be elected President after Lola Evans failed to secure enough votes to win the Presidency over Jay Laylin in 2024.

“I want to run for the minorities who face increasing threats from Republicans and the current administration,” continued Maples. “Whether you love a man or women or a person of the same sex, you have that right. Whether you identify as a man or woman, you can be what you want. I am running for you and I hope I can gain the support of our party.”

Maples is scheduled to announce her first campaign stops early next year as all declared Presidential candidates kick off their campaigns. She is hoping to win support as she feels she is the best candidate to pit against Republicans and said that she will work every day to win the trust of voters.

“It would be great for a woman to win the Presidency,” said a North Lorray voter. “Sharona Maples will be the candidate to make real lasting change against a male dominated office. Her win will signify a win for everyone. I look forward to supporting her and I look forward to seeing her run the Nationalist House.”

Right now, President Laylin and former Vice President Travis Loretti are leading in most major polls, with the President holding a 18% lead over Loretti. With Maples entering the race, experts say Loretti may see a significant drop as her name adds to the polling conducted. Loretti remained high popular as his term as Vice President ended back in 2024 and set him up for a likely plausible bid for President in 2028.
