RUFUS – As vote certification continues, Republicans were able to successfully retain all 5 of their Senate seats as Nationalists failed to gain enough support to de-seat the Republican Senators. Republicans were also able to take several of the Nationalists seats.
According to the Federal Election Board, they say that Republicans were able to hold out and protect their seats while take control of several Nationalists giving them a sound advantage for the Congressional elections come 2028. Nationalists were hoping to take the 5 seats from Republicans but fell extremely short of that goal.
“Republicans held their own and we were able to keep the 5 Republican seats that were up for election this year,” said Senate Majority Leader Harry Rodham. “We will continue to work for the hard-working people of this country and will continue to fight for our children every day. We still have many more Senate seats to claim so we are not going to get to eager as elections are still being called.”
Senate races are still being certified with the final results being reported to the Federal Elections Board who are calling the races live. Further, officials and poll workers are still working around the clock to count and certify ballots. Republicans are projected to take more votes following the end of the certification process.
“It is still a long process as we continue to count votes and we are almost there so we now predict that all races should be called by Saturday morning,” said Federal Elections Director Craig Henderson. “There are several key races to call at this point. We ask that voters continue to remain patient as our team gets the ballots processed.”
Officials in the Senate say they are “pleased with the outcome so far of the election,” as they continue hoping to retain control of the Senate going into November. They say that Republicans need to remain in power because they claim they are the only party who will continue to fix Jesstopia’s problems.”
