RUFUS – A former Senate staffer for President Laylin, who was then a Senator, accuses him of drugging, raping and then beating her in his Senate office. The President denies any involvement or wrongdoing and says he is “committed to cooperating with the investigation.” The Jesstopian Justice Department said it is investigating the matter.
The Justice Department received the complaint filed by Nicks, Turnski, and Lachlan and Associates, the victim’s attorneys. In the case filing, the complaint says that President Laylin, then-Senator Laylin had “egregiously took advantage of her, continually drugged her throughout the encounter before he strangled her and began beating her, before letting her go.
In a statement issued by the alleged victims’ attorneys, “she is suing the Laylin Administration as well as personally suing President Laylin for damages stemming from the rape and assault.” President Laylin denies any wrongdoing calling her claims “false,” and “an attack on my character.” The Justice Department is investigating the case, and President Laylin said he would “fully cooperate with the investigation.”
“It is absolutely disgusting that President Laylin is allowed to remain in office after being accused of something like this,” said former Representative Francine Wallis. “There should be a House investigation into the allegations and a formal impeachment proceeding. This man is a sick, rapey man, who should not wield the powers of the Presidency.”
Allies of President Laylin call the allegations “perfectly timed,” given that the 2026 Senate Elections are now just months away. Vice President Cole Bindle calls the allegations against the President “distasteful,” “absurd,” and “plain wrong.” House Speaker Gregory Harks said that the House would look at “all evidence against the President,” citing the house’s responsibility to “investigate any potential abuses of power by the President in his officially capacity.”
“I don’t want to believe that he did something like while serving in the Senate,” said House Speaker Gregory Harks. “But it is my duty as House Speaker to check the abuses that are alleged against an “alleged” victim. I will do my due-diligence and authorize a full House probe. Now, he is no longer a Senator, so the Senate will not be able to a formal investigation into the conduct of President Laylin as he no longer serves the Senate. We will get to the bottom of allegations whether they are true or false.”
President Laylin says that any allegations against him are merely “political,” to “score Nationalists easy wins during this year’s Senate elections.” He said that he is “innocent,” and “appalled” that the allegations were made against him. President Laylin could face a criminal probe by the Federal Crimes Investigation Service if any shroud of evidence proves that he could have sexually assaulted or raped the victim.
Under Jesstopian Federal Law, the Statute of Limitation for the case is 20 years. The accuser says the assault and rape took place in 2015, well within the Statute of Limitations. Due to the nature of the crime as well as the office President Laylin holds, it is unlikely that President Laylin will face the actual House Ethics and Judiciary committees during the investigation.
“President Laylin abused his power as a Senator to conduct the most heinous act a person could commit upon a women,” said Senator Lenny Serano. “If he can’t be trusted to take advantage of his authority in the Senate, why should he be allowed to continue his role as our Nation’s president. I look forward to the findings of the investigation by the House. My heart is with the victim.”
The Senate is limited in what it can do, but is can investigation unresolved complaints against then-Senator Laylin. The most it can do is refer any complaints to the House Judiciary.
“We do plan on cooperating with the House’s investigation,” said Senate Majority Leader Harry Rodham. “We are going to do everything by the book and we will prove the President’s innocence. We will also ensure that we respect the privacy of him and the victim until we are able to determine the truth.”
Senate Minority Leader Larry Cofelt has proposed launching a formal impeachment investigation, to coincide with the House’s formal investigation into the abuse alleged took place at Laylin’s Senate offices.
“I plan on filing a motion to move forward with a request for the House to launch an impeachment investigation against the President that will coincident with the House Judiciary investigation.
Nationalist House Press Secretary Nancy Yates rebuked the allegations against the President calling the victim a “needy, attention seeking bimbo.” She said that the allegations are “unfounded,” and “smear-like.”
“I think when someone makes allegations like these against a President they better come with great receipts,” said Nationalist House Press Secretary Nancy Yates. “This woman clearly is a needy, attention seeking bimbo who takes pleasure in making these accusations.”
Several key advisors in the Nationalist House say they would not comment on the matter, citing that they will not “comment on any matter related to these recent allegations.” outgoing FCIS Director Barry Wilkenson said that he fully intends to investigate the allegations fairly and without external pressure from President Laylin.
“There should be no concerns over my handling of the investigation as I will ensure that all evidence is provided to the House Judiciary committee,” said FCIS Director Barry Wilkenson. “We will continue to conduct this investigation like the millions this agency has done since it’s founding. It will be done in a professional, respectful and non-pressured manner.”
