RUFUS – The Nationalist House has confirmed that President Laylin is scheduled to meet with the United Kingdom’s Charles III for an official state visit. President Laylin and King Charles have yet to meet in person, even as President Laylin prepares to enter his official third year in office in November. The two men have shared friendly correspondence since Laylin was inaugurated in 2024.

The two leaders will meet at Buckingham palace where the two men will meet where it is speculated that they will discuss further oil deals as the Iran war between the US and Jesstopia continue. Other topics that are speculated to be discussed include Jesstopian-UK relations, access to key US-UK ports, as well as the work to ensure stability in the middle east.

Many other Royal watchers say this visit will likely turn into a political tirade by President Laylin who call his invitation to meet King Charles “unwanted.” Charles and Laylin have not met face-to-face at all since Laylin became Jesstopia’s President back in 2024.

“I think it is disgraceful that such a despicable man is meeting with our loved King,” said a London resident. “President Jay Laylin has been a hateful, narcistic and bigoted leader who cares for only himself and no one else. The King does not need to be around someone like him.”

Others say it will be a good way to improve Jesstopian relations. Several Lond residents say that they look forward to President Laylin’s arrival in London and say they hope that the two men will work together to bring about a conclusion to the war that has been raging on between Jesstopia and Iran.

“President Laylin is a head of state of a major ally of the UK,” said another Londoner. “Whether we agree politically with him or not, he is still a major world leader. I for one look forward to his visit. Hopefully the two can bring about peace and end the Jesstopian-Iran war once and for all. I also hope the two can come to a tentative agreement about the UK-Jesstopia oil deal that President Laylin proposed at the start of his term.”

President Laylin’s security team is already in the UK to assess safety routes and to ensure all possible exit routes are identified. The Presidential Protective Service says that major streets will be shut down for extended periods of times. Traffic is expected to be backed up as President Laylin’s motorcade makes its way to Buckingham Palace.

“President Laylin has made it clear that the trip is not a ‘political show’ as many in the press and more so from the Nationalist side of the aisle seem to claim,” said Nationalist House Press Secretary Nancy Yates. “He is going there on a diplomatic mission, not one to ‘stir anger and politics.’ That is what the press and Nationalists do. He looks forward to the honor of meeting King Charles face-to-face for the first time ever.”

According to Buckingham palace Charles III personally extended an invitation to Laylin and said he looks forward to a “most pleasant visit.” Palace staff said that Charles has been “looking forward” to meeting with Jesstopia’s President.
