JESSTOPIAN TIMES – Alden Prime Time host Jordie Mackland will succeed Nationalist House Press Secretary on June 11, when he assumes office as the 5th Press Secretary, a role he was appointed to by President Laylin yesterday morning.

Yates is scheduled to become the President of Jesstopia’s largest Television producer and product selling company, Nexus Network’s President. Following her departure, she will head an 8.6-billion-dollar company and oversee operations in more than 25 countries and oversee millions of employees.

In the statement posted to the Press Secretary’s website, she said that her departure didn’t come from a fight or spat with any fellow administration officials and said it was simply to allow her to “further my career outside of politics.”

“First and foremost, I want to clarify that there is no bad blood between the President or other cabinet officials and this exit is solely to allow me to take on my new role at Nexus Network. This incredible job and working at Nexus will be next to impossible and I want someone who can focus solely on delivering the President’s message to the Jesstopian people,” wrote Nancy Yates. “It has been an honor to be able to Represent the President and his administration to the media. I thank President Laylin for his friendship, and most importantly his leadership of our great country. I am truly humbled by the honor that was given by me to the President nearly a year and half ago. I look forward to my new role and remember the good times we had together. My departure from the Laylin administration will further my career out of politics.”

Jordie Mackland also issued a statement on his person X account thanking President Laylin for the opportunity to serve as his Press Secretary. He shared the following message on his X account.

“It is with gratitude and honor that I announce that I will be sworn in as the Nationalist House’s 5th Press Secretary,” wrote Jordie Mackland. “There is no higher honor to be able to serve the citizens as their official spokesperson. We will continue to work to deliver consistent communication with the press and the Jesstopian people. Thank you President Laylin for this incredible opportunity and I will not let you down.”

Mackland has worked as Host of Alden Prime Time since 2023, when he was chosen to succeed former Mesa Governor and former Alden Prime Time host Kirk Paul. Mackland has been a staunch supporter of President Laylin and his and his loyalty to the President likely contributed to him being tapped to succeed Yates.

“There we go again, another bootlicker who will spew bullshit about the false promises of President Laylin and his cronies,” said Deegan O’Riordan. “He sucks on APT and will suck as the Press Secretary to this moronic president.”

Other officials are pleased with the decision with many of them throwing the support behind Mackland as Press Secretary. Many call any doubt of Mackland’s abilities “ridiculous.”
