RUFUS – President Laylin early Wednesday morning said that he is aiming his drug smuggling and immigration operations to focus on sinking and destroying drug boats carrying illegal aliens and dangerous drugs, working to prevent them from entering the United States Of Jesstopia. In a recent press statement issued by the President he continues to push for billions in anti-smuggling operations across the country.
The operations were announced during President Laylin’s first two weeks in office, and since then, operations to stop illegal drug smuggling boats have been halted as litigation continues on the constitutionality of and authority of the Presidency to conduct such operations.
“We will continue to do what we can to safeguard Jesstopia and the Jesstopian people, who have suffered from the effects of illegal drugs entering our borders and killing incident Jesstopians daily,” said President Jay Laylin. “I am committed, as with the entirety of my administration, to delivering on the promise to destroy any drug boats that attempt to get into Jesstopian waters and poison our country. This will not stop and I am committed to finishing what we promised back in 2024. This is the time for Nationalists to wake up and see what we are doing benefits all of us.”
Nationalists contend that attacks and assaults on drug boats violates several laws of the United States Of Jesstopia including the Foreign Drugs And Weapons Trafficking Prevention Act, as well as the J.S.C 1849, subsection 82-106. They believe that by sinking the drug boats it violates JSC 1849, 82-106 by “taking away the ability of such persons who engage in the trafficking and delivery of dangerous and schedule I-X drugs, the ability to retreat and return to their country of origin in a safe and dignified manner.”
Republican lawmakers say they support a measure to allow President Laylin to “temporarily eliminate the threat of illegal narcotics being trafficked into the United States Of Jesstopia under the JSC 2840, s.s 112, which states that ‘the President of the United States Of Jesstopia shall exercise temporary powers to enforce and engage water craft carrying narcotics where such intervention is required to protect and maintain life, where otherwise inaction could result in the serious injury or death in the jurisdiction of the United States Of Jesstopia’ which can carry significant injury or death to such watercraft occupants.”
“I think, as many of you know, I very rarely agree with President Laylin, but I do not believe this to be a bad idea,” said Senator Thomas Cooke. “We can all agree that the drugs pouring into our country violates not only our federal and state laws but puts at risk the lives of our citizens and we can’t allow that to happen.”
House Speaker Gregory Harks says that the Presidential authority is “everchanging,” and must “adapt to new threats facing Jesstopia.” He says that he would support a temporary authorization that would essentially allow him to order strikes on ships, watercraft and submarines that carry drugs into our nation and poison the people of Jesstopia.”
“There are threats that have grown significantly that the President has worked to address,” said House Speaker Gregory Harks. “The presidential authority is everchanging and must adapt to new threats facing Jesstopia. We can’t have a one size fits all approach as that simply is not the case. President Laylin’s job is to protect our people and not foreign interests. I would fully support a temporary authorization to allow President Laylin to essentially allow him to order strikes on drug boats, submarines and other watercraft transporting Schedule 1-10 narcotics that have poisoned our cities and the people of our country.”
The House is scheduled to vote on this temporary measure which they say should easily pass the House before making its way to the Senate for final review and a vote on whether to pass it or not. Senate Republicans say they agree with House Speaker Harks on its effective use and the temporary powers it would grant President Jay Laylin. If it passes the temporary powers would be granted and experts predict that President Laylin would increase strikes on drug running boats in the Sea of Jesstinian.
