RUFUS – President Jay Laylin is taking major steps in immigration after announcing that the Department Of Homeland Security will begin processing immigration applications starting today. The President halted the processing of applications on August 11, 2025, and reversed his order July 23, 2026. The administration confirmed then that it would start processing applications in mid-september however the administration delayed the resumption of processing of applications due to a internal issue.

Immigration attorneys said that the announcement is welcomed as they say their clients have patiently waited since 2025 to have their application reviewed. According to several attorneys, clients applied back in 2024, and have remained in their home countries hoping to be able to escape.

Officials with DHS say that any applicant who applied between November 19, 2024 through October 10, 2026 will have their applications reviewed after applicants whose naturalization applications were filed between 2014 and 2024. It says that is it has established a official wait time page on it’s website under Immigration Application Wait Times.

“We are currently working to get all applications processed from individuals who filed an application between 2014 and 2024,” said DHS Secretary Jerry Meckler. “We are currently working to process the oldest applications first and the newer applications and visa applications will come second. Emergency or Safety petitions and applications will be processed before the applications filed between 2014 and 2024. We ask that you visit dhs.jesstopia.org/wait-times to learn more about the wait times for each application type.”

“We are committed to ensuring that President Laylin’s immigration plans still remain in full force, and I will work with DHS directly to ensure the application processing returns to normal operations ensuring smooth transition to application processing,” said Vice President Cole Bindle. “The President has made it very clear that he wants all applicants vetted fully before any decision is mde.”

President Laylin addressed the press calling his move to resume immigration applications a “coordinated effort between the DHS and the Nationalist House.” President Laylin halted the applications as he continued work to deport millions of illegals from the country who were allowed to enter the United States Of Jesstopia under Nationalist leadership over the past century.

“Today we have officially resumed the processing of immigration applications that will be in a controlled, and heavily vetted process,” said President Laylin. “We will continue our immigration enforcement operations throughout the country. Processing of applications will be closely monitored by our immigration teams and we will ensure that all applicants are fully vetted. Applications will still be rejected for ineligible applicants.”

The President went on to say that Border Protection Agency agents will also continue their operations in all 13 states with no end in sight for the operations that have been ongoing since November 16, 2024. Immigration officials say that over 25 million illegals have been deported since 2024.
