RUFUS – President Jay Laylin delivered a national address on the September 11th attacks the claimed the lives of over 2,000 people back in 2001. The attacks changed the world forever the day the first plane was flown into the side of the World Trade Center. In his address he sent his condolences and prayers to the families of victims who died that day. He also vowed to fight terrorism until his dying day.

The President continued in his speech to address the ongoing conflicts that September 11th brought about and the ongoing war on terror that all nation’s, no matter what part of the world they are in, should be willing to fight to protect their people.

“Terrorism does not discriminate. It does not care what country it is, or who it hurts,” said President Laylin. “Terrorism harms the most innocent people to the most known people. Terrorism is a plague that must be eradicated from planet earth and we can not forfeit the global safety for content. 9/11 reminded the world of the ongoing and evolving threats facing our nations and because of it, 2,000 and more innocent people, mothers, fathers, sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, daughters and sons died. We must and will never forget September 11, 2001, and the multitude of first responders and good hearted people who lost their lives that day.”

The attacks had a lasting impact on foreign policy of countries globally as the US’ War on Terror began. Airports became almost prison-like as safety of air space and passengers became the top priority for Government’s. 9/11 was a wakeup call to the world, that no matter where you were, an attack could happen, if it could happen to the world’s largest military superpower.”

“Too many people died that day and we can never, ever forget that foreign policy here in the United States Of Jesstopia and beyond were shaped by this tragic day,” continued President Laylin. “We saw the world come together to honor the lives lost, while celebrating what it means to be American, Jesstopian, Canadian and Russian. The day that will forever be seared into my mind, even today, should never, ever be dimmed and we must work towards a more solidly, safe and secure future for us and for our kids.”

President Laylin was just 11 years old when the planes hit both towers, and he remembered, in his speech, the sheer scale of what happened as teachers, principals, police officers and counselors cried, and hugged one another. He recalled not knowing what it all meant.

“The lives lost, was lost on my 11-year-old self, and for that I regret it,” explained Laylin. “Looking back on it, I should have been more sympathetic to what was happening, and as an adult, I instill the love of country into my kids, so that terror can never win. To this day, Jesstopians and Americans alike come together to defend the things and freedoms that make our countries great and for that, we bat back the call of terrorism, to the far reaches of hell from which such activity came. 25 years later, we continue to ensure that 9/11 never repeats itself.”

President Laylin told viewers that the lives lost on 9/11 will never be replaced and said that there is never a day he doesn’t think of the victims who perished, the first responders who made the ultimate sacrifice. He says that those victims should never be forgotten.

“There is never a time where the victims of this horrific day don’t float in my mind as I make decisions that will alter the safety and security of our great land,” said Laylin. “My condolences will never be enough to express the sadness the world felt for New York City, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, and the entirety of the United States. We will never forget and we honor those lost in the best way possible, remembering them, their sacrifices and the fight to avenge the day that lives on in infamy.”

President Laylin closed out his remarks citing that Jesstopia and the United States will always be close-tied partners aiming to combat terrorism at all levels and will never forget the events that killed thousands on a clear, crisp September day back in 2001.

“Today, as we remember those lost, let us look to the future for hope of peace and prosperity everywhere, where light shines on the dark, good defeats evil, and were love destroys hate. We can’t move forward without first remembering the past and the lives sadly lost,” finished President Laylin.

President Laylin, tearful, said his hopes for America, is a country where the memory of those killed, live on in the form of true American values where anyone from any corner of the world can become an American. He also said he prays for the souls who did what they could to save the other plane that crashed in Shanksville as heroic passenger attempted to take control of the airplane.
