RUFUS – President Laylin will not be required to testify in his rape trial as Judge Tonya Aspendale rules that his Presidential duties and the ongoing Iranian and Russian conflicts will prevent him from sitting uninterrupted during the duration of the trial. His lawyers will testify on his behalf through a 8 page written testimony.

A written statement provided by the President will be presented to the court as a formal sworn testimony. Judge Aspendale says the President Laylin’s ongoing Iran-Jesstopia war and various other conflicts require his “immediate,” and “undivided attention.”

Prosecutors say that the ruling will be appealed, vowing to ensure that the President faces his victims in a court of law. Prosecutor Nick Davies says that the President must be in court and are moving to reverse the position that Judge Aspendale took in her final ruling.

“This is a miscarriage of justice, and we will appeal her decision to not have him in court,” said Davies. “This is part of the process and our ability to question the president is important for a fair trial and allow us to present a strong case to the jury.”

President Laylin has continued to say he will cooperate any way he can, and has given investigators access to his emails, phone records and online social media accounts. Investigators say there was nothing of note in his emails or phone logs and have applied for a warrant to pull his entire email and phone record history even erased or deleted messages and texts.
