RUFUS – Governor Joey Rigg is set to deliver the 2026 North Lorray State Of The State address to the State’s House and Senate during a joint meeting. The Address will be the Governor’s first official address to the state legislature.
In a statement provided by North Lorray House Speaker David Sperling, he said that as part of Governor Rigg’s duty as Governor of the great state of North Lorray he is required to deliver to the State legislature an address related to the health of the economy and the state’s executive branch.
“It is incumbent upon every Governor that has served since John Hancock to deliver an address to the legislature,” said North Lorray House Speaker David Sperling. “That does not change with Governor Joey Rigg and he has been invited to deliver this speech on June 14. We look forward to seeing him here and delivering his speech.”
Governor Rigg posted a message on his GovMedia account calling it an “important role and duty of the Governor of North Lorray.” He also called it an “honor.”
“Governor’s[sic] since the founding of this great office have delivered a State of the State address delivering updates on the state’s health, success and economy,” wrote Governor Rigg on his GovMedia account. “This address is also an important role and duty of the governor and therefore I am responsible for delivering this address each year and it will be an honor to deliver it to the Legislature.”
The event will kick off at 10:00 PM, being televised on all major platforms, and news channels. Streaming will be provided on the Governor’s office website and Governor Rigg’s GovMedia account.
