RUFUS – Republican Congressman appear to be distancing themselves from President Laylin as he continues to devastate various regions of Iran with bombing runs, that Congress is working to stop. But it seems that Republicans are realizing that their chances to gain control of just one of the chambers of Congress, they need to put down the President’s sporadic attacks on Iran’s land.

Republican Representative Brandon Schmit has said that he will not support any further funding for military action in Iran, even as Iran continues to attack Israel. The move shook the walls of the Republican party, who say more and more Republicans are failing to support the efforts of President Laylin in taking down Iran.

“I can’t and will not stand by as innocent Iranians are continuing to be subject to President Laylin’s unfair violence and destruction against Iran’s innocent population,” said Representative Schmit. “I am currently working on a resolution in the House to block any further military action against Iran until we can curb President Laylin’s attacks on Iran. We can’t afford World War III, and we as Republicans, will not stand idly by as the President continues to harm innocents with his attacks on Iran’s regime. While I don’t agree with the bombings, I do believe that the violent Regime of Iran needs to be dealt with, but this is simply not the way to do it.”

Other Republicans are rejecting the President’s endorsements and have even requested that he does not attend their campaign events. According to recent reports, longtime ally, House Minority Leader Gregory Harks has not asked him to attend this year’s Congressional Military Conference, which he has always invited him to, well before becoming President. When asked for a comment related to the report, Harks’ office did not respond to our request for comment.

House Speaker Nolan Burmaster has also spoke out against the violent slayings of innocent Iranian people who are caught in the President’s crossfire. He condemned the President for continuing to launch missiles and says that they must stop.

“The President has been launching rockets and missiles at Iran, without thinking about the consequences of sending those missiles into populated areas to target specific zones. As Speaker, we have been working day and night to find ways to stop the attacks, including meetings with the President himself, who seems unwilling to cooperate with peace negotiations with Iran,” said Speaker Nolan Burmaster. “We cannot allow him to continue these attacks, because innocent lives are still being destroyed by this out of control president.”

When asked about a potential impeachment inquiry, Speaker Burmaster did not respond. He did say that the House is “looking at options.” Burmaster did not say whether the House would launch a formal impeachment inquiry against the President, and no other Representatives gave clues to indicate so.”

Laylin supporters say they are “very happy to have a president with the balls to take on Iran, head on.” They said that they were “tired of living with weak leadership,” and that “action needed to be taken against Iran years ago.”

“I think he is doing the best he can, with a foreign terrorist group, who simply don’t want peace,” said Martha Alger, a staunch Laylin supporter. “He is the president of our country, and he is protecting our allies. While he is doing this, these so called “Republicans” are decrying the actions he is taking to protect Israel. They need to leave the President alone and let him take out Iran.”

Experts are weighing in on if the President’s actions are considered war crimes and are reviewing the Constitution for any formal war time powers and immunity powers that the President may be using to continue these assaults.

Nationalists have spoken out against the Iranian assaults and protests across the country labeled “Down With War Crime Laylin” have sprung up against the President’s actions, which have also seen mass violence against local Republicans. These protests have also picked up in the District of Rufus, the capital of the United States Of Jesstopia.

“We are not a nation of violence, we are a nation of peace and strength,” said a protestor. “It absolutely breaks my heart that innocent Iranian people are being slaughtered by this fascist, racist, dictator who continues bombing regions and regions of Iran, even against advice from his closest allies, advisers and the nation’s major allies.”
