RUFUS – President Jay Laylin is set to close a deal on a 8.2-million-dollar penthouse in Alberta, Cambridge. The President’s office announced that he was in the midst of purchasing a residence in Cambridge where he is expected to stay during winter months.
The penthouse which is located in Cambridge’s capital city, will boast on impressive 3500 square feet of luxurious living space, three large bathrooms, four bedrooms and an indoor pool. The penthouse purchase has been called into question as President Laylin gears up to make his intentions in 2028 clear in two months.
Users from all spectrums of the political world have responded both on X and other online social media websites, with varying reactions to the 8 million dollar price tag.
“Why is the President of the United States Of Jesstopia buying a penthouse in another country,” said a X user. “I can’t think of a more horrible looking purchase from a sitting Jesstopian President.”
“Why can’t the President buy properties where he wants,” said another X user. “For f*ck sakes, he is a Jesstopian citizen and can pick and choose where he wants to purchase homes. God the liberals hate seeing a strong and successful person buy where every he wants. LOL.”
House Speaker Gregory Harks came to the defense of President Laylin as attacks from the left intensify as the President’s closing date draws nearer. The Speaker went to say that President Laylin is a “free and rightful citizen of the United States Of Jesstopia and can buy wherever he’d like.”
“He is the leader of our country,” said Speaker Gregory Harks. “He is a free and rightful citizen of the United States Of Jesstopia and can buy wherever he’d like. The president doesn’t have to answer why he bought a penthouse in Cambridge.”
The Penthouse has come under fire as Jesstopians say they are living paycheck to paycheck only to be able to afford very little food. They say while they struggle, the President went to buy an 8.9-million-dollar penthouse in a different country.
“While Jesstopians here struggle, the President is out buying a penthouse worth more than 100x the average salary of a low income earning Jesstopia,” said a Lorento, Mesa resident. “We are drowning and trying to scrape by and the President is out buying a Cambridge home. It’s tasteless and should be investigated.”
Experts say that President Laylin has an estimated net worth of approximately 36 million dollars, and that networth comes primarily from his business dealings, and several investment sources. Annually he only makes 165,000 as President. Many critics of the President say he has the money to help struggling families but chooses to by another home.
“If the President has a networth of 30+ million dollars, why doesn’t he use it to help struggling Jesstopian families?” Jxterthegovhater, posted to his X account. “Why wouldn’t he use that money to fund special programs to help needy families get the healthcare, food and clothing that they need.?
Another user responded to the tweet, with a sharp backlash.
“@Jxterthegovhater why should he have to spend HIS money on strangers when their is a government that can provide that. Would you spend YOUR hard earned money and random people. He worked hard for tha tmoney[sic] and he isn’t entitled to use HIS money for anyone? What an absolutely stupid thing to say or suggest.”
The President did say that the penthouse would be sold to the Jesstopian Office Of Historic Jesstopian Places. He also said he was looking at a mansion for sale in Nox City, just 5 minutes from former President John McCallum’s Nox Hills home.
