RUFUS – North Lorray Governor Linda Lee will leave office on March 15 and has delivered her farewell address to the state that she has led since 2022. In her speech she reflected back on the policies, programs and other actions she took to improve North Lorray’s economy, civil rights and lowering costs. She spoke on her time in office and thanked North Lorrayans for entrusting her to lead them.
“For the past four years we have accomplished so much, and for that I will be forever grateful,” said Governor Linda Lee. “We have done more for the LGBTQ community than any other administration in the State’s history. That is something I will always be proud of. We will continue this fight, and I know the State legislature is working to safeguard the rights of trans students and athletes.”
She went on to list her economic accomplishments, which she says will further allow North Lorrayans to live comfortable and successful lives. She says that her 2022 tax plan will allow North Lorrayans to be able to save more money, allowing them to buy the things they need.
“I am proud of the economic policy we have been able to pass over the past four years, starting with the 2022 tax plan, which saw a decrease in taxes by 2.6%, allowing North Lorrayans to save more and afford the things that they use every day,” exclaimed Governor Lee. “We also were able to put more money back in the pockets of the hardworking North Lorrayans that have been the heart of this state, providing for their families.”
In her farewell address to said that the State must remain being an accepting community for immigrants seeking to immigrate to Jesstopia, while ensuring that all human rights are respected, which she blames the lack of humanity on the Laylin immigration raids that have ramped up violently significantly in the last year.
“We must remember that our country runs on the hard-working immigrants that have and continue to help build this country,” continued Governor Lee. “Our state must continue to be a beacon of freedom for those seeking to immigrate to our state and Jesstopia. We must also ensure human rights are respected and stop the lack of humanity, which falls in whole on the Laylin administration’s violent raids of homes across our country.”
She went on to discuss her hopes for the future, and says the future looks bright, as more North Lorrayans have employment than ever before, and the unemployment is at its lowest levels since 2001. She said her focus on the North Lorrayan people guided over the last four years and she says that her work for the people of the State, is not over.”
In her conclusion, she thanked the people of North Lorray for allowing her to serve as Governor and entrusting her to lead them through tough times and good times, improving the living conditions and affordability for North Lorray and its people.
“It truly has been the honor of my life to have been able to serve as your Governor, and for entrusting me to serve and lead you,” concluded Lee. “This job has allowed me to work to improve the living and affordability conditions of the state, and I will be forever grateful for this opportunity, and I look forward to continuing to serve you all, albeit in a different role.”
“My hope is that Governor-Elect Joey Rigg will work for the people and not for a political agenda that targets the transgender community and allows their rights to be preserved,” finished Governor Lee. “He as Governor, should focus on working making the lives of all North Lorrayans better because that is what he was elected to do, and that is what is right.”
