RUFUS – Representatives late last night into this morning voted on the 2025 Child Protection Act that would fundamentally and legally prevent schools and all learning institutions from displaying LGBTQ-themed materials in classrooms and areas where children are present. The act passed the Senate in a vote of 54 to 26, with 12 Nationalists joining Republicans in passing it.
The act is now headed to the Nationalist House for signature by President Laylin who is guaranteed to sign it into law. Once law, schools will be legally prosecuted for child abuse, will lose permanent federal funding and may be stripped of child care and education licensing.
“This act will protect our children from mentally ill individuals from pushing transgender propaganda onto our children,” said Representative David Berchum. “We must ensure that our country does not fall victim again to what we experienced during the last two administrations. We cannot go back. We can’t abandon our family values of man and woman, and we can’t risk our children for the sake of catering to the mentally ill.”
Two Nationalists joined Republicans in passing the act, but gave a very stern warning. Representatives Janice Sheinbaum and Larry Boulder they sided with Republicans simply for the clause in the act that protects the LGBTQ community Jesstopians from being targeted and persecuted. The act also provided healthcare measures for transgender Jesstopians as part of the negotiations in forming the bill.
“I am not against anyone’s rights being stripped away and will fight tooth and nail to get LGBTQ Jesstopians the protections they deserve and ensure the Laylin administration cannot strip your rights away,” said Rep. Sheinbaum. “I am simply voting in favor of the bill for the provisions in the bill that will open the door for potential modifications to the bill in coming weeks and months. I will fight everyday to ensure Jesstopian of all ages and sexual orientations are protected here at home.”
Representative Boulder’s office says he was not available for comment but did pass on that Representative Boulder is “committed to the advancement of transgender rights and programs and will do everything he can to restore funding for gender affirming care that President Laylin halted when he took office.”
House Speaker Gregory Harks also weighed in on the winning vote, citing a “great day for Jesstopia and the restoration of common sense and a two gender policy.”
“I am grateful that we were able to pass this bill and get it done so that our children are not brainwashed with liberal propaganda and mental illness that have been, for too long, allowed to be spread to young impressionable students in our nation’s schools,” said Speaker Harks. “I know the president will be ecstatic when he learns that the bill is headed to his desk to be signed into law. This was a very long night of voting including starting at 10:00 PM and having several rounds of voting.”
The bill was supported by all Republicans and the party says it is a collective victory for “Jesstopia’s greatest asset, our children.” Nationalist Representatives say they are working on a bill to reverse the Child Protection Act and say they will privilege the bill onto the House floor. They say it ‘alienates children from making their own choices and prevents them from expressing who they truly are.”
