RUFUS – Cole Bindle, Vice President of the United States Of Jesstopia said that Jesstopians expect a safe country and to accomplish that requires strict immigration requirements. He said that Jesstopia is on the right path for citizenship requirements and the country is getting closer to the reopening of immigration and naturalization applications.
President Laylin shutdown applications for immigration and naturalization on November 19, 2024, and that process has seen a sharp decline in application reviews, which was part of the Laylin Administration’s plans to curtail illegal immigration. But as illegal immigration is now less that 15%, the administration is considering reopening applications and restarting review of asylee and immigration applications.
“The President has made it clear that he wants to ensure that we reopen our country’s borders for immigration applicants, and as we continue to make progress reforming the immigration system in our country,” said Vice President Cole Bindle. “Jesstopia is on the right path for citizenship requirements, and we may be ready to reopen the government very soon.”
When asked when he thinks the borders will reopen for immigration and asylee applicants, he did not give specifics on when a possible opening of the border would take place and did not confirm if there were any individuals awaiting deportation.
“The president and I want to be able to allow those who come to our country the right way to have a chance at life here in our great United States Of Jesstopia,” continued Bindle. “We can’t have a open border where illegals enter our country and stay here, soaking up valuable resources that should be invested in the Jesstopian people, so it will take time before we can physically reopen our borders.”
The Nationalist House did confirm that President Laylin appeared to be happy with the progress Border Security and Immigration efforts have been going and will be speaking with DHS and other agencies to work on a viable way to reopen the borders.
“President Laylin loves immigrants, but ones that come the right way,” said Nationalist House Press Secretary Nancy Yates. “He is eager to help people seeking to escape their countries in hopes of a better life in Jesstopia. We just need to nail out all of the details and that will come with time. As Vice President Bindle has said, we do expect the borders to open relatively soon.”
Yates did not confirm a potential date that the border would reopen. Officials are also keeping tight lips around the border reopening including administration and cabinet officials.
