RUFUS – President Laylin has official entered his first year in office and now has planned to move ahead with several of his major policy proposals. Since taking office, he has vowed to destroy the LGBTQ movement in Jesstopia, lower inflation, and reduce cost of living for Jesstopians.

The Nationalist House says that President Laylin will continue to deliver results for the Jesstopian people and has said that he looks to the next 3 years as he continues to push through his administration’s agenda. The agenda includes LGBTQ, Economic, Infrastructure, Healthcare and Education policy. He also plans to unveil his energy policy for 2025.

“One year ago today, the Jesstopian people made history by electing the country’s first head of state and very first Republican president,” said Nationalist House Press Secretary Nancy Yates. “He had a historic inauguration day and delivered for the Jesstopian people on day one, slamming shut our overrun borders, deporting millions of illegals on day one. He has not stopped since and he will not stop until our country is 100% safe.”

Officials across the country including former Senator and longtime ally of the President, Joey Rigg congratulated him on his one year in office, citing his incredible work to ‘lockdown our borders, secure our communities and protecting our families.’

“Congratulations are in order for President Laylin on reaching his first year in office,” said former Senator and 2026 North Lorray Gubernatorial candidate Joey Rigg. “Since taking office, he has been able to lockdown our borders, secure our communities and protecting our families. He has reduced illegal border crossings, reduced inflation and lowered the cost of groceries for everyday hard-working middle-class families. He has worked tirelessly to stop the spread of transgenderism. While he continues his work to make Jesstopia even better, we look forward to the next 3 years of his leadership and hopefully many more.”

Governor Joshua Adamson of Mesa also issued a statement on the Mesa Governor’s Website where he said that President Laylin is the best leader Jesstopia has ever had.

“I today would like to Congratulate President Laylin on the accomplishments over the last year that have so greatly benefited the Jesstopian people. 

Over the last year, Jesstopians have benefited from lower gas prices, reduced inflation, reduction in illegal border crossings, securing our schools and unleashing Jesstopia’s energy,” read Governor Adamson’s statement. “I look forward to working with him for the next three years to continue to ensure our citizens remain safe, secure and have access to the programs and services they need. Good luck President Laylin.”

His first year in office saw him nearly assassinated twice. The first assassination attempt was on January 12, 2025, before taking the stage at a speaking event for the United Steel Workers union in Towton, New Shire, a gunman entered a secure area, and was able to fire 5 shots at the President striking him in the face. The shooter was able to escape as investigators work to identify and capture the shooter. The shooter was identified as 24 year old Juan Carlos Perez.

The second assassination attempt took place on September 26, 2025. While boarding Presidential One enroute to North Lorray ahead of a meeting with Republican Gubernatorial nominee Joey Rigg, several shots were fired at the President, but the shooter quickly fled after firing the shots. Investigators say the shooter is 22 year old Evan Alvarez. He was quickly identified as the shooter after he called his family frantic a day after the assassination attempt. His family said he suffers from mental illness. Officials are currently looking for him.

The Nationalist House says he will continue to work with Nationalists and Republicans to deliver results for the Jesstopian people and says he hopes to put the partisan politics behind the need to deliver for Jesstopians.
