RUFUS – The United States Of Jesstopia is still at war with Iran, and now tensions have escalated to a point of no return after several Iranian missiles were launched into Naval Base Darwood, a Naval Base located just West of Medina, Saudi Arabia. The base was attacked and 25 naval service members were killed.

The attack has been called “unwarranted,” by international allies of Jesstopia, and says that “tensions will only escalate from here.” Officials across the country are calling for retaliatory strikes on Iran, namely the Tehran. The service members killed have not been identified at this time, but President Laylin says their will be “harsh penalties” in response to the attack on Naval Base Darwood.

President Laylin issued a statement addressing what happened at the naval base in Medina, Saudi Arabia. In his statement, he called the attack “atrocious,” and eluded to ‘retribution’ as the war between Jesstopia and Iran escalates.

“What happen early this morning is atrocious beyond measure and Iran will be held responsible for killing 25 of our service members. We have been alerted that 25 men were killed when an Iranian missile struck a compound holding 100+ men,” wrote the President. “Iran’s escalation of this war is why today I announce that bombing runs will continue, and we will not stop until a peace treaty is signed, or the country is destroyed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the service members who were killed today.”

The statement was extremely clear. He issued a stark warning to Iran, and said that Iran owes a “debt” to the United States Of Jesstopia. He also said that Iran made a “bad move.”

“As I have already said, their will be debts owed, and Iran will have its fair share of debts to our country. Right now we will work to gather as much information as possible, and work to create a plan of action,” continued President Laylin. “I am not happy and Iran just made a bad move. We will not stand by as they continue to attack Jesstopian service members. This is a warning to Iran. Keep attack our naval bases, and we will obliterate you. We are done with playing nice, and you’ve just angered the wrong people.”

President Laylin then went onto note that US President Donald Trump, Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu all called him with messages of support and anger.

“Moments ago I spoke to US President Donald Trump who denounced the attack on the Naval base, and send his prayers to the service members killed. He said that he will support us as we continue to cut down the Iranian regime,” reported the President. “Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney also called me, and advised me that he would be sending any aid necessary to fight back against Iran, and issued a message of support for our service members. I was able to speak with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who reiterated his commitment to our cause and expressed his deepest anger for our country and the service members who were senselessly murdered by Iran.”

Defense Secretary Corbyn Willard issued his own statement, and called the attacks “cowardly,” and “unacceptable.” He issued the following statement on the Defense Department website.

“Today, Naval Base Darwood was attacked by Iran. We are working to figure out what happened, and when and who perpetrated this attack that took the lives of 25 service men and women. Right now we are in contact with our allies, and are working to assess what our next steps will be.

As President Laylin has said, their will be debt to pay. Iran WILL be held responsible for this attack. As the Secretary of Defense, I will have the ultimate task with drafting a plan of action, and to propose that to President Laylin. Right now I will not discuss the details of our battle plan, but I will say, Iran will be sorry,” the statement read. “These attacks were cowardly, and are extremely unacceptable. We will never tolerate our own being massacred by a known terrorist country. We will fight like hell to the ends of the earth to find those responsible for these attacks. My hearts and prayers go out to the families of the servicemen and women killed in this senseless attack. We will keep you posted.”

According to President Laylin, there is an emergency meeting scheduled for early this morning. Officials from the entire administration is scheduled to be at the meeting. The President is also set to address the Jesstopian people around noon.
