RUFUS – President Laylin early this morning issued that he was ramping up efforts to penalize federally funded colleges and universities that continue to disobey several executive proclamations that “ban the teaching of LGBTQ material in classrooms.”

The crackdown comes as the Jesstopian Department Of Education reveals that it has been secretly checking in on Federally funding college campuses around the country, learning that these orders are being blatantly violated.

“Schools and colleges are refusing the follow a directive from the President Of The United States Of Jesstopia,” said Secretary Of Education Cherry McBriddle. “These colleges, universities and schools that rely on federal funding, are disobeying directives from this department. That will not happen. They choose not follow a directive, they don’t receive their funding. There will be no grants issued to these districts and colleges. President Laylin has made it extremely clear that he expects the colleges and other educational institutes to follow his directives or face certain withdrawal of federal funding.”

Scholars and legal experts have been weighing on the fight between colleges and universities, and the Laylin administration and say that the President can not in fact withhold federal funding from colleges and universities, with many of his supporters expressing otherwise.

“The president only directs the Department of Education, and therefore can make decisions that he deems fit,” said Troy Eckland, a legal analyst. “But with that, the courts can disqualify his orders and they have done so before. If they find that his holding of federal funding is illegal and unconstitutional and he will be forced to release that funding. A court battle is sure to take place as Colleges continue to refuse to concede to this new policy calling it “discriminatory,” and “bigoted.”

In his warning to colleges, the President warned of immediate repercussions for failing to comply with the policies that he sets for LGBTQ materials and the ban that was ordered on December 5, 2024.

“There is no place for gay and transgender themed books to be shown or discussed in learning institutions,” wrote President Laylin in a warning to Jesstopian Colleges and Universities. “This order will also give parents the right to sue any federally funded College or University that engages in or pushes LGBTQ learning materials onto students.”

The President has been anti-transgender since entering the political arena, and has become even harsher against the community. He says that there is no such gender other than male and female and has stood firm behind this stance.

“To ensure complete cooperation I have directed my Department Of Education, through 300.373 and 300.374, to begin inspecting college campuses unannounced at any time as well as implement strict financial penalties on colleges and universities that do not comply up to and including termination of federal grants.” the President finished.

Several colleges have already announced plans to sue the Laylin administration if they try to cut college federal funding, something they say violates free speech which is afforded by Jesstopia’s constitution.

President Laylin doesn’t seem likely to give up his fight against the LGBTQ community, and the overarching message of the Republican party and the Conservative ideals that fueled his victory during the 2024 Presidential Election. Court fights are set to begin as soon as he announces the first rescission of funding from “non-compliant” colleges and universities.
