NEWS 28 – President Jay Laylin is digging his heels into the warfare that he has waged against Iran and is batting off calls from world leaders to end the hostilities with Iran to work towards a peace agreement. The Jesstopia-Iran War has been raging on since July 6, and as the war continues, President Laylin seems less and less likely to seek formal peace agreement until Iran agrees to stop attacking Israel, which is concerning his closest Republican allies.
But as he continues to mount warfare against Iran, he is also angering many of his key allies, which experts will “blow up in his face if he doesn’t change course.” Republicans and Nationalists have expressed great concern for the President’s motives, and say that he is destabilizing world peace, and could risk any peace between Ukraine and Russia.
“The president is playing a very, very, very bad decision by continuing to attack Iran, who has begun sinking Jesstopian warships as tensions continue to escalate. Iran, will start targeting Jesstopia’s largest and most prominent cities,” said Jack Krann, a political expert for Jesstopian News Network. “He doesn’t understand the consequences for his actions, and everyone should be worried. US President Trump has begun ramping up calls for a cease fire between both countries, all while trying to peacefully end the war between Ukraine and Israel.”
Nationalists are likely mounting impeachment evidence against him, but that has yet to be confirmed and is heavily speculative at this point. But if they were to try any legal action against the Laylin administration, it could likely survive as Republicans look for peace options. Several Republicans have spoken out against President Laylin including Representative Jacob Henley(NS-32) and Representative Micheal Giancarlo(LY-41).
“Every Jesstopian president has the duty and obligation, to ensure world peace while conducting himself, in accordance with the laws and traditions of our country,” said Representative Micheal Giancarlo. “Right now, President Laylin, seems more interested in a personal vendetta than doing what is right. His bombing runs, while not targeted, are killing innocent people. We must stop him from killing any other individuals. We must end this war in order to accomplish world peace. We are not going to get it this way. He is quite out of line.”
As Republican distain continues to grow, President Laylin seems only eager to bomb more and more of Iran, even as US leaders advise against these continuing attacks. Republicans seem more and more likely to oppose any further actions against Iran until President Laylin reels in his attacks, which doesn’t seem likely, at this current time.
“President Laylin has been entrusted to do the right thing, and end this fighting, but he doesn’t seem interested in doing that. We are now watching President Laylin destroy the progress we as a country have made in reducing tensions,” said Representative Jacob Henley. “There needs to be in place, a measure to stop federal funding from funding this personal-ego-feeding war. My hope is that we as a Congress can agree to restrict what he can do when it comes to the war with Iran. He is absolutely overstepping his authority.”
President Laylin has said that the “war would end with the cessation of hostilities of Iran on Israel” and that “no other nation can make the war end but Iran.” Experts believe that this war might be a bit personal for Laylin but say he could simply be exercising his war powers.
“As President, it is my duty to protect our allies and our allies include Israel,” said President Laylin in response to a claim that he is becoming a dictator. “For Iran to keep attacking Israel, they are putting this on themselves and only Iran can end the fighting if they agree to stop attacking Israel. I am not a dictator. Never wanted to be one and never will be one. I just want Israel to be left alone.”
