NEWS 28 – Governor Lynn Rodgers served as the 45th and first female governor of New Shire from May 10, 2024, until her untimely death earlier this morning.

After her death was announced, President Jay Laylin lowered all Jesstopian flags to half staff in honor of her service to the country as well as the State of New Shire. President Laylin ordered flags to fly at half-staff starting at 5:00 AM and returning to full-staff after the internment of Gov. Lynn Rodgers.
