RUFUS – President Jay Laylin has approved spending for the 2025 Fiscal year, including the national budget. This budget was approved by the House ways and means committee and focuses its spending on border security, defense spending, and hiring of more defense department officials.
The president in his opening remarks issued that the spending of taxpayer money should not come down to one person but a collective of people who point out what spending should be done on border security, education, homeland and defense. The government then shapes what happens from there.
President Laylin has remained clear that he only wants to spend the necessary amount of money to help reduce inflation and while ensuring that the debt ceiling isn’t reached in funding.
“I am thankful to be the President of the United States Of Jesstopia, where I have control of the spending proposals,” said President Jay Laylin. “It is my duty to ensure that no taxpayer money is overspent and the past few leaders of our country spent like they earned it. Former President John McCallum spent nearly 82 trillion dollars during his last year and a half on reckless purchases. I aim to end that with this new budget.”
